Firefox 2.0
Testing the beta 2.0, looks quite stable, no memory lacks for now, fine :
* A new theme that updates Firefox’s familiar interface => this is cool, specially the tab presentation
* Built in Phishing Protection => good, even if I think I hadnt problems with that
* Enhanced search engine management and search suggestions for Google, Yahoo! and Answers.com => excellent !, and bigger in the default layout, real improvment
* Improvements to tabbed browsing, including the ability to re-open recently closed tabs => one extension less needed
* Firefox will resume from where you left off after a system crash or browser restart => one extension less needed bis
* Better support for previewing and subscribing to Web feeds => I still use Sage extension for now
* Inline spell checking in Web forms => yeah, even if dictionaries are a little painfull to install
* The ability to create bookmarks with “Live Titles” for Web sites that offer microsummaries => have to grab into this
* New Add-ons manager that simplifies management of extensions and themes.
* Support for JavaScript 1.7
* Extended search plugin format
* Updates to the extension system to provide enhanced security and to allow for easier localization of extensions
* Support for client-side session and persistent storage
* Support for SVG text using svg:textPath => perhaps Mozilla should help the guys of MS on this one
* New Windows installer based on Nullsoft Scriptable Install System, no difference seen for me, is probably a developer thing
